as this tournament is not organised through boards.ie, i think a list of members would not be suited to here as im quite sure the majority of members who have entered are not registered to boards, and would not like their name / battle.net id posted without their consent.

Like RMC, said, some people may have a problem with me posting users who have signed up. I can tell you that at this moment of time 10 people have paid, and are eager to play, with another 15 on top of that registering and I am still awaiting to get the money transferred to me from those 15. I will be limiting the tournament to 32 players.

And it will be a first come first server with players that pay first.

Tournamnet is still going ahead just incase anyone is doubting. There is a guarantee that firstplace will get €100. one month left, still a lot of time to practice your game.

    Hey,

Ya on this Friday, cant wait to see other SC2 players around Ireland. Had a good few interested people so far and good amount of people who have emailed me to register so hopefully on the day there will be a good numbers there. The prize pool will be good as well(not as much as ESL :P) But these competitive gaming, its not all about winning.... ;)

Hopefully this will all be a bit of banter and we can enjoy the night out in Galway as well.

Hope to see you all on friday

I'll prob pop in, I haven't logged into Battlenet since the 18th of August though so I won't be attending the actual event (too humiliating) but I'll certainly spectate for a while.

    Who from here is going?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,140 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

    Will spectators be allowed?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,095 ✭✭✭Columc

Tournament starting tomorrow. Cant wait to see the turn out for this and the standard of play. After this tournament hopefully I'll be organizing more live tournaments throughout the next few months.

From the emails I have been getting a lot of people have generated a lot of interest in this, I know from doing various other tournaments and LAN parties you cannot depend on people being interested. A lot of times a good amount of no shows occur. Only time will tell to see how much people will attend.

TheDoc, we will not be allowing spectating for the matches, however all game will be replayed and I will upload for people the view.

Hopefully I'll be seeing some of you at the event.

    Colum
