    Hey,

I was driving home this evening and my engine maintenance light came on. Freaked me out a bit as I've just had lots of work done on the car and it feels better than ever. Its a 2001 1.4 Zetec model. Anyway, I got home no problems and the car didnt feel or sound any different.

Any one shed any light on what this could be? I need to drive to Belfast tomorrow so it couldnt have happened at a worse time!

    Any advice really appreciated.

Check all oil levels, gauges etc. Could be that the mechanic bumped off a sensor during some work, have a look yourself to see if anything looks out of place, cables or wires. The only way to know for sure is to run a diagnostic scan, so bring it back to the guy who worked on it last.

I would, but he's in Wexford! And I have to be in Belfast this evening unfortunately. I dont think its anything serious, as I said the car is driving fine.
Thanks for the advice, I'm gonna ring a couple of places this morning.
