Donkeys in Trim (Next to Trim Castle)

Does anyone know who looks after the donkeys next to porch field in Trim? I am curious if it is affiliated with a sanctuary or if it's just a private person.

My daughter loves feeding them carrots and if it was a sanctuary I would want to make a donation.

I did see one thread about them in another forum that was concerned about their welfare but that was last year and I am no donkey expert to tell how healthy they are (They certainly get loads of carrots all day and look healthy enough).

    Cheers

I thought that councillor Gerry Reilly owned them, Gerry would take good care of them.

Buttons, Biscuits, Raisins, Mini and Pudding are owned by the person referred to previously in the thread, and spend the winter on the Kilcock Road. My kids love giving them celery. They are very well minded and nearly as big a tourist attraction as the castle itself....
