Hey so I've always taken the dart to school on a schoolchild (up to 15 years old) and scholar/student id card (up to 18) and now I'l be taking it to college.

Is there something similar I can get? I know I can get a "Student TravelCard" but its not the same thing - it doesnt allow me to buy a weekly "student" I don't think?

    Cheers!

A student travelcard will get you discounts on monthly bus and rail tickets. Irish rails website isn't the best for finding fares, but a student monthly short hop ticket for all DART, suburban rail and bus services for a month is €93. It's €73.50 for DART only.

Best way is to ring them. Depends on the station but most are 10 times more helpful than the website in my experience.

Keep in mind that Irish Rail's month is in fact a calendar month, and not a period of 30 days. So if, for whatever reason, you're not buying your ticket on the first of the month or thereabouts, it might be better value to opt for weekly tickets. The Student Travelcard covers these too.
