Travel Boots?

    Hi guys,

Just wondering if it's a good or bad idea to use travel boots as stable boots?

My Thoroughbred mare has a habbit of knocking herself in her box, despite being stabled with a very deep bed! She has a fresh cut or graze almost every other month on her hock or fetlock.

I thought that travel boots would be ideal for protecting her overnight.

Has anyone tried this? Or is there any reason why I should not use them overnight?

Thanks, any views really appreciated :)

You would be better off bandaging her legs overnight than leaving travelling boots on. They really are designed only for travelling and can move and slip especially if she was walking around her stable, not very safe at all.
