On the good side I was completely shocked with French + Business (A1) and Irish (B1). Slightly disappointed with Maths & Geography (B2). Total points= 535...which, in itself, was a shock!!:D

    English A1 (H)
Got a D in the Junior Cert and was going to drop down to pass. So relieved that I didn't.
Got 520 altogether although I got a D in Higher Maths but I'm so glad that I passed it.
Overall I'm delighted with my results. and kind of shocked :)

C3 in Higher Maths, I was delighted when I saw it. That was my big aim for the Leaving, as Maths has never been great for me, and I worked my ass off.

Irish and French........ in a veeery bad way!

I was pleasantly surprised by all my results, but the main ones were:

    Accounting (H) - B2 (after that paper I expected a C3 tops)
Biology (H) - B2 (failed the mocks and had been working SO hard at it)
Maths (O) - A2 (the only A I ever got in Maths, had a horrible teacher, so happy :D)

Got 405 points!! I know that's nothing compared to most of you, but for me it was one of the biggest achievements of my life! :):D

A2 in english was out of the blue for me  never got more than a B in my life for English even for the Junior Cert or first year class tests :p have to say I was quite shocked seeing as I didn't bother learning any King Lear and I forgot everything bar the very general story of all 3 of my comparative scripts

was an ojus shock when I seen it :D

also 460 points was a shock as I was expecting in or around 380 and I was hoping that I might sneak 400 points just so I'd be in the 400s rather than 300s...

I was surprised with Business, I worked really hard but pretty much taught myself the whole course and ended up getting an A2 :D I thought I would have done better in Maths but a C2's still pretty great so not too disappointed.

I was really shocked with History (H) because i got an A1 and i still check it to make sure that i'm not seeing things haha. I was also really suprised with Accounting (H) because i got a D3 in the mocks and got a B2 in the real thing. Got 495 overall and that was also a major shock

Ha no word of a lie, straight away i saw the three A's in:

    English, History and Ag Science.

Was thinking this is gonna be tidy cause hoping for round 500. Then hit earth with a bang.

Biology: B2, my best subject hopin for an A. Pretty miserable.
Chemistry: C1,:mad::mad:, thought I had at least a B2, will be appealin
Irish: C1, alright was happy and unhappy

A1's in History and Geography! After my teachers assured me getting A1's in those subjects was practically impossible

    Biology A1 :eek::eek:

A B1 in Irish  I was shocked - I know for a fact I didn't do well enough to get that - I had a lot of difficulty understanding Paper One and seriously bluffed my way through Paper Two. The tapework went rather poorly and the oral was the only thing I was happy with!

My twin brother, who had been working hard at Irish all year and was even getting grinds, only got a C3 - he had been expecting higher. It's enough for the primary school teaching requirement though.

Maybe they mixed up our results? :P

My biggest surprises were in my 3 lowest subjects.
English B3: Disappointed. Thought I might scrape an A2, and that it'd be a subject I'd count, but only got a B3 after a B2 on a mock paper that our teacher said was harshly corrected.

Irish B3: Delighted. I was hoping I'd just passed, would've been happy with any honour, as I'd to leave the exam for Paper II with less than half of it done due to a medical problem.

German B2: Ecstatic. Had considered dropping to OL in German, and never imagined I'd count it for points, so I hadn't bothered studying it at all, just concentrating on other subjects which I thought I'd count. Honestly I think there was a mistake with the correction of this! Not complaining though.

Was disappointed with engineering, had A1s since first year.. Only got a B3

Then in the complete opposite manor, My best physics score ever was a 69( in the mocks) and got a A2 on the day

    All HL btw

I was shocked by my results as a whole. The first thing I spotted was a C1 and I was thinking "Oh, okay, I was expecting that" and then I noticed a line of Bs with an A at the end, and realised I was about fifty points over what I thought I'd get! I was pretty floored

My B2 in french was such a shock-I actually considered dropping to pass as I found it rather difficult(only took it for college entry requirements) I did a grand total of two hours study before the writing exam too!

I see we're sharing that boat. I didn't expect a C3 either, and I failed every HL Maths exam ever.

I was disappointed with me E in Applied Maths. Sure I only started properly studying it in May but I did put in a fair amount of effort into it in those last two months.
