Nothing classier than drinking out of a box.

Didn't realise you could still get boxes of wine.
We used to get them years ago.

Not much of a wine drinker though so i doubt i'd tell the difference once it was in a glass!

I take the bag of wine out of the box and bring it to festivals, wine might be a bit **** but its easily transportable.

ha I don't why but, this made me giggle away to myself!

OT; I really don't like the wine w/ tap things from tesco. Just give me a nice chilled bottle of pinot & i'm happy out!!

I find a box of wine is much more enjoyable while sitting in a gutter while raining. A funny cardboard sign asking for spare change just adds to the aroma for some reason!

If it's a good wine, the quality is the same as it is from a bottle. There's no difference at all - except the price & the increased chance of getting extremely bladdered.

The boxes are grand, I brought back a van load from Cherbourg last year & they tasted fine.
Just generic stuff like Shyrah or Merlot, nothing high class comes in a box.
The were only 2 issues, firstly you hadn't a clue how much you'd drank & secondly, there was always loads of grit in the last bit you squeeze out of the bag while denying your alcoholism.
    Happy memories.

Wine boxes usually have a best before date on them, so a little tip is to check the date, not many staff know they have a date so they arse up the rotation on the shelf. If there out of date you might try pointing it out to a Manager and see if you can get him to knock them down to next to nothing.
