Jailbreak display units!

    Had great craic in CompuB recently with the display units which were still using iOS4.0, so I used jailbreakme.com to jailbreak all their i devices, great craic! Has anyone else tried this?

    Had great craic in CompuB recently with the display units which were still using iOS4.0, so I used jailbreakme.com to jailbreak all their i devices, great craic! Has anyone else tried this?

    Very childish, but it made me larf :D

    this reminds me of when i had a pocket pc, i had a program to make all the sony dvd players region free, and I used to walk around all the sony stores and hack the dvd players.

    corporate espionage, i love it....

    :rolleyes: What are they going to do? Sit around and wait just in case the guy who visited a website on a display model and clicked a button comes back again? Then pounce and yell "Tamperer!!!!"?

    The display models that I have seen seem to have some sort of "demo mode" running. Is this in response to the above?

    Here's what Apple are doing about jailbreaking. Worth a read. Another broad Apple patent applied for:
