True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are believed to have married in a surprise ceremony held at a private residence in California.

The couple, who got engaged last August, tied the knot beneath a specially erected tent across the street from a Malibu beach, Us Magazine reports.

Celebrity guests said to have attended the event include Elijah Wood, the couple's True Blood co-star Carrie Preston and her husband, Lost's Michael Emerson.

Earlier this week, Moyer claimed that he surprised himself with his desire to settle down with Paquin.

True Blood costars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin got married on Saturday evening in Malibu “surrounded by their family and friends,” a rep for Paquin confirms to EW. According to Us Weekly, which first reported the wedding, guests included True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Alan Ball, Rutina Wesley, and Carrie Preston, not to mention Elijah Wood (who costars with Paquin in the upcoming film The Romantics).

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child together this fall, the actress’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The True Blood costars met on the set of the hit HBO show and have been married since August 2010. Moyer has two children — Lilac, 10, and Billy, 12 — from a previous relationship.

The True Blood costars wed in August 2010. The twins are Paquin’s first children, while Moyer has a son and a daughter from a previous relationship. 30-year-old Paquin first announced her pregnancy in April.
