Toshiba Equium A210 BIOS password issue

    Hi lads,

I have a Toshiba Equium A210 that I'm sorting out for a lad. It has a BIOS password set on it, not sure why, but I'm trying to clear this.

When I get in to the BIOS I have the above options, BUT the up and down arrows dont work. The only item I can click on is "Set User Password", and when I do I am prompted to change the password to another password (i.e. but there is no option to just get rid of the password altogether).

If I leave the new password blank will this do the trick (and no longer prompt me for BIOS password on boot) or do I specifically need to turn the password OFF somewhere?
