I love at 0:40 when he says " I cant understand what he's saying".
Ya me too, and everyone else in the ring.
Believe me he is the worst auctioneer I've ever seen. Next to impossible to understand. I spent a lot of time in that mart. You'd hear 40 45, but you woulnt know it it was 540 or 640, he's that bad.
He's well in with the "boys" on his left too, if you know what I mean. Never like to see that.;)

To be fair he has improoved a bit in recent years.

Spent many a cold day in that place!

Have to confess years ago I couldn't understand an auctineer when I was selling a yearling in a mart. I put it on the market and was pleasantly surprised when I got the seller slip to find that the animal made a 100 quid more than I thought I had sold it for!!

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

yet really enjoyed it, haven't been there in a couple of years and kept bumping into old faces, a great show of cattle , good show of texel and jacob sheep, some classes in the other breeds a little light, but a good turn out just the same.

the venue has to be the best in Ireland and fair play to the committee for returning to a two day event.

They were there on Tuesday anyway, the usual messing the ''local'' dealers have was not on show as they had to compete for cattle, made between €480 and €540 with their wight myself.

As for Neylon I'd prefer Mattew to him
