Excellent thank you very much for that I knew there must be more bands out there that are right up my street,
I think I like all of it a lot, well the hypnotic brass band maybe not long-term but seem good fun for a festival, only thing I didn't really take too was Unkle but Ill check out other videos of them,

AFAIK, Tiga does DJ sets rather than his own material. Very very good DJ sets, but I prefer his own stuff immeasurably.

Go see Rubberbandits feat Crystal Swing if you like rap with a surreal Limerick wit, check them out with 'The Swing', it can't possibly fail, that's if you can get into the tent.

+1 on Unkle

The Horrors shouldn't be missed, quality second album from them last year.

Don't go near The Fall, waste of time.

Seasick Steve is always a treat.

Oh and I recommend Friendly Fires aswell.

Ones I'm most looking forward to are Modest Mouse, Redneck Manifesto, Foals, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. One that hasn't been mentioned is Kormac's Big Band who should be lots of fun.

Ya, they're not someone that I'd listen to often but their live show is really really good fun. Even better than that Jools clip. Definitely go see them.

I noticed that you haven't many dance acts highlighted, so maybe you're not a big dance fan. But Leftfield are great & are meant to be very good live. I think they'll be one of the highlights of the festival. Their 2 albums were two of my favourites from the 90's & both were nominated for the Mecury Prize.

Just meant for a guy to turn up at a Fall show having never heard them before...seriously wouldn't recommend that. I'm not dismissing the band outright. Buy an album, listen to it at home, but don't go see them as a Fall virgin.

Large +1 on Eels, just back from seeing them in the o2 Academy in Glasgow Tuesday night. Amazing live, the Chet is fcuking top guitarist, actually whole band rocked, and when I say rocked, I mean ROCKED!

What if someone has a reaction like I did when I accidentally saw Adebisi Shank play when they were supporting Deerhoof? Not the most accessible band, and I was hooked when I saw what they were doing.
