it was a spinners dream. extremly dry and dusty. looked a bowlers wicket and when they won the toss and put us in I was very wary.

that said the bowling from both teams was bang on the money aswell.

chasing our pathetic 86 we had them 2 down for no runs after 5 overs !! and only a drop at gully prevented us from having them 3 down for 4 runs after 7 overs. Now that would have been interesting !!

they beat us by 5 wickets in the end.

if they beat the Irish women they will be promoted up to Div 7 I fully expect this to happen.

someone had suggested to me that it was the clontarf game alright. We rarely have any problems with opponents, we like to consider ourselves a nice bunch

I thonk Wexford pretty much have the division wrapped up now, they had a big 10 wicket win last weekend and we still have a tough league game in Clontarf away where we'll be missing 2 of our 3 top bats.
