Ordering something online- where can I send it to?

I'm ordering something online and DON'T want it delivered to my home address. I looked up post office boxes and mail drop boxes online and they are all far too expensive. Is there any way I can order the product online and have it to delivered to somewhere I can just pick it up from? Like similar to a post office box but only once-off, because I probably won't ever need to do this again. So is there a service like this offered in Dublin somewhere? I'm willing to pay, but not a ridiculous amount. I only need to do this once. Thank you :p

Would it be possible to give an address to your local post office like this ? say -

    Ms Hart Box
    c/o Ballymore Post office
    Ballymore
    Co. Kildare

The local Post Office might keep it for you if you tell them it is on the way and addressed to them .

Its may be worthwhile asking your local PO.

most compamies/sellers have no problems delivering to aworkplace if it was an issue of you not being at home during the day

(I have done this numerous times in 3-4 different post offices with no trouble at all. I then went in on a saturday or day that suited with ID to pick it up, you can ring in advance to see it has arrived.

This was back in my college days I now get everything sent to work.

who is it being delivered by? you could ask for it to be held for collection in the depot.

if you live in an apartment you will generally have to pick the item up from the post office anyway. Anything bulky that cannot fit through my letterbox is left for me at the post office.
