    Hi

Do people normally put in the kitchen and then fix the wall tiles after the kitchen is fitted or do people put up the wall tiles and then fit the kitchen after?

    Thanks

Normally you would fit the kitchen first,

No point in having the tiles behind the wall units, waste of money in my opinion.

Absolutely Kitchen first. Apart from a waste of money, your kitchen fitter wont thank you and the finished job wont be right as regards things like sealing behind the sink etc.

    Kitchen first and imo either

    a. Raise the tiles a matchstick amount off the counter

    oR

b Count the amount of tiles that sit on the counter and keep that many spare...

    Why...

You nearly always need to replace the counter and some of the tiles brake.

If you do a, it will be easy to remove the counter seal with a stanley knife or b. will allow you spares if you break any...

    Just imo
