Original Sim to Activate

    Hi all,

    My friend made a balls of upgrading/jailbreaking her iphone.

    At the moment she has to reactivate the phone.

    Its saying that the sim card is incompatible and please insert original carrier sim to activate the phone.

    The guy she bought it off was on O2, so does this mean she needs to get her hands on an O2 simcard to activate or is there any shortcut?
