The motherboard and cpu are incompatible.
Have a look in the cpu section under LGA1156 for a compatible cpu.

On a minor sidenote: I happen to have that keyboard from Logitech and I wouldn't buy it again, but more importantly: It's a German layout. Best to buy a keyboard locally, where you can even check whether you like the keystroke or not.

That CPU would fit into that specific mainboard, yes.

However, what's your budget including screen and operating system?

I'd like to keep it under 900 total.

Ive changed a few things, unsure what motherboard to add.

    Would you change anything else?

I'm having a hard time fitting OS and screen into the 900 budget.
Crysis preys on GPUs and Arma2 eats CPUs for breakfast. Can someone confirm that a 460 would be better suited than a 5770 here?

460 is better than a 5770, I'd say it's on par with or slightly better than the 5830.

Also will this come with cables etc, just want to make sure I have everything I need in one go.

You should get things like SATA cables with your motherboard, PSU cables with your PSU and probably DVI/VGA cables with your monitor (not always). You might have to worry about the power cable with the monitor and PSU as they could be European 2-pin. Some sellers throw in adapters. You can reuse ones from old PCs too.

    That's a weird looking monitor.

If you're a student or have kids attending school, you can get W7 Pro for €45.45.

    Go with the 460, IMO.

Wish i knew about software4students and how much cheaper some parts are on HWVS than Komplett, would've saved my parents a good bit of money/gotten a better PC

That's a good board, my brother has it at the moment, but I'd recommend the newer M4A89GTD Pro for €10 more

The 460 - Just get the cheaper 768MB version. Most will be pretty close. Just do a quick search for reviews mentioning warranties/cooling variations etc. for whichever one you pick.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Although I'm careful to check when I buy, you can't always know everything. I had ignored MS student software deals until recently because they were never seemed to apply to here or were far to strict, but now they really seemed to have opened it up, so I might as well let as many people know as possible (no, I don't work for MS!).

PSU StealthXStream, idk man, it has already been succeeded by the better SXS 2 series. The Corsair RAM is just overpriced. The case is just about taste and cheapness, really.
Crysis and Arma2 really go hard on your software so this is difficult to blend into that budget.

    Coming up with these 2:

    intelo.th.jpgamdu.th.jpg

    Cables -> see Monotype :)

IIRC the Cougars are all high-end HECs I think, in any case they're not too shabby but sometimes quite pricey.
