How big an external H disk do i need for PVR

    Hi Guys,
    What capacity hard disk do i need for my PVR facility on my combo box if for example i wanted to record a 90 minute football match? if it was left in record mode all day would it overwrite previously recorded material?

    About 2 gigs an hour. Is it a HD channel ?

    No it wont record over anything else it will run out of space and stop!

    Use the timer facility to come on if you dont have an epg to simply press record on.

    what model combo box ?

    It is an Edision mini argus 2 in 1 ip. Yes it is a HD channel we'll take as an example. What file type does it record in?
