My child should be starting 2nd year next week but will probably be off school until January. We need to do some home schooling in the meantime to help him keep up.

Does anyone know what grants are available for a tutor?

    Any other ideas?

Contact the child's school next week.
There is a form for this purpose that is usually handled by the Home School Liaison teacher.

The assigned tutor has to be registered with the TC, have Garda clearance etc., the school will have a list of people.
