    Does anyone think it would be a benefit to the community to open this line as a cyclepath. Is there anyone on this forum familar with the line and the surrounding towns and villages. I visited the line once and though it would be a great asset to the area it would bring jobs and a better quality of life to the surrounding area.

    It's a great idea but I think the pipe-dream of re-opening the line would deter anyone from backing it in a serious way...
    I've regularly visited the continent and in comparison the cycle facilities here are a real joke..
