Anyone use sharmusic.com

    Hi,
I wanted to order a music book from the website sharmusic.com as i can't find it for sale anywhere in Ireland.
On ''proceeding to the checkout'', i was asked to pay for the items that i wanted to buy but stated that i ''would be quoted a shipping cost later''.
When i saw that i cancellec the transaction. Surely they wouldn't ask someone to pay half their bill now and the other half later (without even knowing what that extra amount will be?)
I emailed customer service but haven't got a reply yet. Doubt i will now uintil monday.
I'm finding this really irritating as i need the book as i'm playing in a wedding in 3 weeks time!
Has anyone used sharmusic.com before? Have you experienced this problem aswell?
    Thanks in advance!

In my experience this company is highly problematic. They have a lot of false advertising (free shipping), which they don't respect, for instance, when the order is placed from Canada. [I believe that they actually ignore where Canada is, that it is a contiguous state to the USA, etc. In a conversation with a supervisor I had the clear feeling that USA is the only country in North America...] Prices vary from day to day without clear pattern, but the general rule is that the customer gets the least favourable for him. Moreover, when the order is placed, one never knows on which website the transaction is performed (USA?, Canada?). There is no information for when the shipment is due (anyway it takes long days before they actually process the order), and no possibility to cancel an order that has not been processed.

My conclusion: never, ever again, trust them!
