Can anyone recommend a free iso mounting programme?

I looked through the 'Essential free software' thread, but only saw Daemon tools.
I've done this before and I didn't use Daemon tools. I used something else.
Google has failed me. I'd know the programme if I saw the name.

It's either this or opening up a laptop and trying to fix the optical drive. Mounting is easier.

THIS is free, lightweight, and far superior to bloatware daemon tools :)

Why not use Daemon Tools or Daemon Tools light ?

I use PowerISO, I think it's technically a trial or shareware etc, but it still keeps on mounting images for me

ive used MagicDisc a lot. Like it much better than Daemon anyway which is no surprise.

The problem is that it's a copy protected cd.
Now I know that asking how to bypass the protection is not alowed here. I'll find a way around that myself.
It's my neighbour's laptop. It's her cd. It works on my pc. I've tried other cds and dvds on her laptop and the problem lies in the optical drive.

All I want to know is which is hte best free iso mounting tool. All I want to do is load it onto her laptop so that she can use the content without having to replace her optical drive.

I'm not fond of Daemon tools for Windows.

Another vote here for Virtual CloneDrive as recommended by yoyo above.

It's the simplest, lightest and most reliable ISO Mounting app I've found.
