Will there be a new Bus Eireann express route 12 Limerick to Dublin?

Since they are making amendments to route 20 making the 20X and also with the 51X from Limerick to Galway wouldn't it make sense to do the same with the Limerick to Dublin route with a direct/non stop or limited drop off every second hour. Then would be very beneficial especially on a Sunday when most passengers will be travelling to Dublin and if there is a good demand an extra bus could go up. I travel up most Sunday evenings on the 18.30 service and it is shocking to see the amount of people that are left behind in places such as Nenagh, Portlaoise, Roscrea because the bus is full. This used never happen but since the 16.30 Non stop service from West Clare to Dublin on a Sunday was cancelled this has become a common occurrance. Still even at that why go through these places and leave people behind because the bus is full. Wouldn't it make sense to have a full service on one hour and then maybe a limited or non stop service on the second hour?

Maybe there will be but I'm afraid we are unlikely to find out until the Department/NTA approve it given the commercial sensibilities involved - with the various competitors in the inter-urban bus market, the operators tend not to announce their plans until the last minute.

If they were to introduce an express service that would take under 2hrs30 then I'd consider it, but until then I'll continue to use the train regardless of the cost because its the quickest and at least semi-comfortable way of travelling
