    Hi All

Anyone know anything on these tractors,
know where there is a 1984 one for sale with engine done up,
    BUT
has a clicking noise in the pto and back arms are Missing

its fairly tidy with 85% back tyres and 20 front..

heard they have a clutch that different from a 956xl and that it gives plenty of trouble

any advice appreciated as kinda interested in buying as hearing different stories on them

Drove one years ago, The clicking noise is almost certainly down to a bearing. Also the gearing set up is pretty crap as far as i can remember

so you wouldnt really rate them ?

you think "bearing gone" so wonder is the cab taken off to fix this..

i suppose you could still use it no problem but would probably get worse.

It really depends on the price, it could turn out to be a cheap muscle tractor (Very standard with no gimmics). There s definitely no shortage of power but remember its a 6 cylinder and these can be quite thirsty!!
As for the PTO clicking if you had only occasional use then it would probably
be okay but you would need to factor in a couple of hundred into the price in case it has to be done.

could be a broken tooth im told too which would be abit expensive but best price is €5700 the way she sits( no lifting arms on back either but has dromone hitch)

thinking now where would you get parts for these - not many about
