    Hi,
I am currently in galway, and just finished a degree there ( not in earth science, but in science ). I would like to talk with someone in the earth Sci dept, just to find out about the subject perhaps get some book references. not sure weather i would want to pursue another undergrad just yet.

Does anyone know of any academics there that are easy to chat with and dont mind doing so. I just know from experience there is always a right and wrong person to chat with. Please PM if you have a name in mind.

    Thanks

Try John Murray or Sadhbh Baxter. Sadhbh is lovely and John seems fairly sound as well.
Tiernan Henry was a very approachable lecturer too. They all have specialties so I guess it depends what area most interests you. Sadhbh has 'life-long' learning listes as her interest, so if it's for a second degree she might be good?

(All the EOS staff are going to tell you theirs is the bestest subject to study in the world though :pac:)
