Anybody know why the 69 is using the old route it used before the new road up past the green isle/corkagh park was built?

Ah it is probably only licenced to use the old route and was using a different route during road works on a temporary basis?

I haven't taken that bus since the mid-1980's,
so when you say its back to the old route,
you're saying the bus comes from Citywest direction (yeah I know citywest was all just cornfields then) along the N7,
and turns in at the boot road junction, that is after passing the Green Isle hotel on the N7, turning in right where Veronica Guerin was shot.

I remember the time it used to take the bus (outbound) to cross that boot road junction,
and that was at a time when there was traffic lights at the boot road junction.

So its back to this road then, hold on a minute, those traffic lights on the N7 have been removed, and the nearest junction is Newlands Cross.
What so it comes out of Clondalkin, takes a left in towards town, does a U-turn at Newlands cross and back outbound on the N7?

95 very disappointed people viewed your thread so far, me included.

I don't know anything about the No. 69 bus. But I do know you should have put this in AH - Deadly title for a bus question :pac::pac:
