why did trackmix's and dadumtish's threads get moved?

ok, so the "show us your music" has a reason for being but when people are looking for feedback on recordings or mixes then they should be allowed to stay on the main board no?

otherwise the discussion just gets lost and confusing with everything else going on.

this is a forum about production, surely our output shouldnt be hidden away in a single thread?

seriously, its a production forum. its not as if the threads are OT!

Music / Listen to my music - needs to be put into the relevant sticky or the MP / DMP boards will turn in a mess. The stickies and rules are there to keep it tidy / focused.

Also, a minority just use it as a form of advertising and don't bring anything meaningful - alas because of that the sticky get used for everyone.

If you want really meaningful developments, then approach users via PM and ask for opinions that way (maybe from someone you've singled out as being relevant to your style) - most would probably help, or add a 'PM me' to the posts in the sticky and someone may help out.

People who post stems / technical 'real issues (lets say with eqing on a certain stem) - may get left in the main MP forum as that's practical application and teaches people something concise.

Hope that helps clear it up.

If ever in doubt about what you can/can't post - check the rules.
