I knew a girl who lived there last year and really liked the place. she never mentioned having a problem with staff or getting things fixed and things like that's, but she did mention that you could hear what people in the apartment next door were doing. But, to be honest, that's the case with all student accommodation. The price was very reasonable for the year but its ages away from college. If you plan on living there look forward to lots of time spent on the no. 5 bus or long walks!

depending on what part of college you're going to, it's about a 30-40 minute walk. that's time enough to get *very* wet if it's raining :)
there's the no. 5 bus from inside the train station (across the road), plenty of students get that.

it's totally manageable to walk though, you get used to it.

A friend of mine who stayed there last year had pretty much the same opinions as the other posters. He liked it- the apartments were grand, the management were grand, he had no problems with anything. He didn't mind the walk either. Personally I wouldn't stay there because it's too far away from college for me, but if you are willing to walk 30-40 minutes to college each day they I don't see why you shouldn't consider it.
