afterschool care

    Hi All,

    I am looking at going back to work and i would need afterschool care for 2 kids. I needs to weigh up costs etc but have NO idea what I would be expected to pay somebody to collect 2 kids from school and mind them for the afternoon. Then what happens on school days off and mid terms etc?? Please help - SO SO Clueless. ( I am in Navan)

    I currently pay 15 per day for one child.
    I drop the child in the morning at about 8.45, she is walked to school (about 5 mins away), she is collected at 3pm, has her dinner, does her homework and is collected by me at 5pm.
    On half days I don't pay extra, days off I pay 30 per day. I'm in the West so it might be a bit cheaper down here.
