Image editing software??

    I am just wondering is there any good image editing software for around 50 euro or less for editing JPEG images??

    Have you looked at Gimp, its a free download and very popular.

    +1 to this.

    It's not the easiest bugger to get used to but persevere as it is incredibly powerful (and as John says, it is free). "Gimpshop" is a free add on which makes it look a bit like photoshop (menus in the same place, etc). Also, for video tutorials try meetthegimp.org

    There are a couple of neat online jpg editors I also like;
    • Thumba
    • Pixlr

    Sorry, but on these you will not be able to spend your €50 budget. They are both free too :)

    I recommend a nice bottle of red wine (or two) with the €50 though :D

    Paint.net is grand and handy i find. Simple menu system and plenty of plugins to play with.

    Gimp, from what I hear, is an excellent program, but sadly, it's extremely awkward, I find. It drives me up the walls.
