Gas Cylinder & Margin

Does anyone know much about gas cylinders and how much margin a symbol or a forecourt makes on a 11.34kg of gas?

The RSPs seem to vary widely across shops and there only seems to be 2 players in the marketplace - Flogas & Calor.

    Thanks

RSPs are the same. But many retailers quite rightly get what they can for them. If I remember correctly it's about 10% profit on retail (ex. vat) at the RSP.

its feck all I you can get better deals by haggling with the rep for free stuff or rebates that will be linked to targets. also you make a bit more if "selling" a cylinder with no return but often get hassle when joe punter brings you 2 or 3 emptys and wants money for them.
