hi.....i have being offered a role in dublin with an annual salary of 40k euro+bonus of 15-20%

I am currently working in London where my salary is approx. £60k.

Any advice on how to go about getting a few quid more in Dublin. It's a decent role and probably my best chance to get a decent job in dublin for a while!

Honest advice would be to stay in London. £60k is equivalent to about €100k over here. Even with the bonuses, it would be a step down.

thks for the reply. I understand its a step down in the monetary sense but believe me it's a much better position in every other regard. It has great potential after a few years and would look much more impressive on my cv than my current role. Even if i got another 10k or so i would be happy. Any advice on how to go about this? Is it better to do it by email or in person?

Say you got another job offer or you boss has offered you more money. Tell them you are taking a pay cut (which you are) and you are really interested in the role (which you are) but its very hard to take such a large drop in wages.
