Fathers as Parents Course /Joint parenting

    Amen is running a course on Fathers and as far as I know it is open to men and women and those who work in area
    Fathers Count Course
    Amen in conjunction with Springbaord Family Support Services, Navan are delivering a two session course entitled Fathers Count. The course explores men's experiences of been fathered, looks at current research on fatherhood and how to incorporate these skills in to the often precious time they spend with their children.

    One Family (now incorporating Gingerbread) also run initiatives on joint parenting ciurses for those who want them.

    <H1>Information support for dads

    <One Family is offering information support meetings for dads over the coming months. These include Practicing Good Communication Skills to Manage Conflict (March 30) and Talking to your children about your family situation (June 1). All meetings run from 2–4.30 p.m.

    These meetings are a good opportunity to explore parenting issues that affect you and your child while also meeting with other dads in a similar situation.
