Looking to book a week in the sun in January and was wondering where people would recommend for the best chance of sun/highest temperatures. Budget would probably only stretch to Canary Islands, maybe Egypt. Many thanks

I really wouldn't recommend the Canary Islands as I have been there a few times in January and it is completely hit and miss. I think you are more or less guaranteed sun in Egypt that time of year in the South of the country anyway.
