Navigon nationwide POI search problem

    Hi,

Anyone know if it is possible to change the POI categories when doing a Nationwide search with Navigon. For example, it doesnt include hotels in its search so if you are looking for a hotel which is outside a main city it is difficult to find as you need to figure what 'city' it is listed under.

For example, I was looking for Dunbrody House Hotel which is officially (according to their website :)) in Arthurstown but Navigon doesnt find it there and only way to find it is to search under New Ross. Would make it a whole lot easier if you could do a nationwide search of just the hotel name but I cant see how to do this.

    Am I missing something ???

Other than this problem it seems to work pretty well!

    Thanks!

Tbh Navigon is crap for POI's in Ireland. I have given up with it because it has really outdated maps (my estate is 7 years old and its not on it) and I can never find anything on it. TomTom is very good. Sorry I have no info to help you

Thanks, I've only had it a couple of days so not sure on whether the latest version has improved on the POIs or not. Up to now everything I've looked for has been there but it is just actually finding it can be difficult as you cant do the 'Nationwide' search which is a pretty flaw in my view.
