M3/N3 Comparison

Hi.

Has anybody done any comparison with the N3 and M3? I travel from Navan to Blanch everyday and trying to figure out how much it would save to use the N3 and avoid the tolls.

Obviously it saves time using the M3, probably around 10 minutes each way? It's a pity the motorway goes way off course, it would have saved even more time. But I wonder if it saves petrol/diesel sticking to the N3? Is the N3 much shorter in distance than the M3?
