Trying to Pay via Paypal - Strange Error

    Hey Folks,

    I won the auction for an item that had been listed on eBay.com (America) and which the seller had listed as available to the States only. I had messaged him and asked if he would post the item to Ireland. This wasn't an issue and so I've won the item and tried to pay but I get the error below:
    We were not able to process your payment due to the seller's PayPal payment receiving preferences.

    Does anyone know why this error is happening? I've bought items previously that were listed on eBay.com so I'm flummoxed as to what's causing the problem. I've sent the seller a message but haven't heard back yet.

    I reckon its to do with it been listed for the states only. I had an issue before where I couldn't pay for an item as it was listed as shipping to uk only. I cant remember how it was fixed tho :/

    Got it sorted. The seller hadn't ticked the box that allowed them to receive international payments.
