    This stuff is maddening. There was a Dealership had something similar done to it 3 years ago. They stole all the iDrive systems, Bluetooth kits, SatNav drives. Whatever was taken was taken out professionally.

    This is happening all over Europe, my brother in law had his 1 year old Clio stripped last Tuesday week outside their house in the suburbs of Paris.

    If an airbag goes off in a car it is not always a write off? Must be stealing for people who upgrade their steering wheels.

    Well that and re-sale I would assume. (for the black market). A lot of cars on the road have a crash history and you just don't know it.

    They really went to town on that Clio.....

    What I can't understand is how they got away with removing panels from the car woithout anyone noticing. They must have taken an angle grinder to the front of the car going by the amount of debris left on the ground.

    Dunno myself, it was done overnight but there were a few cars in the area done so they were stolen to order.

    Nope, €60,000 car in light front ender, air bag pops, €15,000 to repair ish, no way a right off.
