what's a good way of attracting ducks besides decoys ,I have a bit of land that floods every year , tried decoys but the only thing it attracted was a fox , which was duly dispatched but no ducks

i shoot a lot of ponds and land that floods, i use barley and rotton spuds, mix rolled barley with mollasses, but in my 30 year shooting there would have to be ducks in the area, i set up decoys and mallard mojo spinner in stubble that ducks dont go to but they pass going back in the evening to the lake and will swing in for a look with duck caller going aswell, 2 of us got 21 mallard this way in 4 evenings last year, would have to be ducks in a few mile radius to attract them in.
