    HI

It seems to be three different cracks on the wall facing the backgarden of the house. They appeared two- three years after the house was built. Now they seem to have got a bit bigger. Are they structural or nothing to worrie about? asked few neighbours and none of them have any.. thanks

Neither crack would concern me particularly.

The first one is a little unusual to be a settlement crack due to the shape of it, but is likely all the same to be a settlement crack or possibly a crack in the plaster, which sometimes happens for a few reasons.

The second is more common, its normally due to an incorrect size lintel (too short) being put over the door / window opening.. again, its fairly common on the grand scheme of things and as i said i wouldnt worry about them - keep an eye on them to see if they get bigger, but ive seen hundreds of cracks, neither of those would worry me

Thanks... I was just a bit worried because one if the side walls has three cracks from the top to the bottom beside the foundation. Attached is one of them, but are all the same. Maybe are different problems, but moved into the house in 2004, and just wanted to make sure than in case something is wrong I can use homebond..... Strange these carcks on the side wall....

Could be settlement, difficult to tell as a picture of the crack alone is insufficient to tell, if you're worried it might be structural, then get a professional to look.
