    Hi all,

I have a wedding coming up and would like to get a nice floaty feminine dress to wear. I have tried the usuals coast and monsoon. Can anyone else suggest some shops? Im 31 so cant get away with dorothy perkins, miss selfridge etc. also i dont mind spending up to €200. Any thoughts?

I had the same problem a few weeks ago and eventually got my dress in a boutique off Grafton st, though it was just over the €200 mark.

Try Arnotts on the 1st floor. I was in there the other day and they seem to have loads of newish concessions like LK Bennett, Kookai, Nicole Farhi, Paul & Joe.
Also try Ted Baker or Oasis or Reiss.
When i posted my query a few weeks ago, alot of people were recommending littlewoods.ie aswell.

Second for Arnotts, they have some nice brands like Tahari and Nanette Lepore, tho the latter is probably outside your budget.

Floaty at this stage of they year might not be so easy to get, you could have a look in Chica in Westbury mall. Also try BT 2nd floor, Jesire have beautiful stuff if you are petite, Whistles, also Phase Eight if you want something a little more classic.

You could have a look in Debenhams. They usually have a good selection of dresses, but given the time of year they may have a large number of debs dresses in stock, rather than 'normal' dresses.

Roccoco, just beside the Westbury Hotel off Grafton St, is always worth a look. I've got a few nice things in there during the sales.

thanks girls. I've been to Arnotts and it is quite good alright. Im not a big fan of Debenhams to be honest but will try all the other labels mentioned.
    thanks again.

I was in the same boat the other week and for luck managed to find a lovely maxi dress in new look. It was one of the ax paris dresses and was reduced from 35 to 23 euro which was even better! It was not the place I would have thought to look for a dress to wear to a wedding at all I only went in by chance but they have some really lovely stuff in stock!

I got this dress recently in House of Fraser- Its really nice as a casual dress but my sister also ended up wearing it to a wedding with a gold sequined bolero and gold accessories and it was beautiful
Looks nicer than the pic in real life :)http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Linea+Twist+Front+Maxi+Dress/139918192,default,pd.html?cgid=301

You could try Kildare Village, I know it can be hit and miss, but they have Monsoon, Coast and Reiss and sometimes you can get really lovely stuff for a great price.
