Unlock Keychain (MacBookPro)

    Hi,

May be a dumb question but I'm using my friends Mac Book Pro and every second or third page a pop-up comes up asking to insert a password for the 'Keychain Login'.

    It's very annoying.

My friend says he never set anything up and we can't figure out how to get rid of it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Am I in the right place to ask this question?

Sounds like a dialog I get on boot in Ubuntu :p

The keychain is a password store AFAIK. If you go into your security settings you should be able to set it to ask once.

    Go to applications > Utilities

you will then see Keychain Access, you can change all of the settings within there.
