    Hi,

Was on the buyandsell home page a few mins ago. Seen an ad on the homepage that looked like one of mine with a BIG SOLD sign accross it. Turns out it was my ad and they decided for some reason that I sold the item? Which of course I didn't because I'm still looking at it.The ad did expired a few days ago but i dont think that gives them right to say it was sold.

To be honest i'm abit pi$$ed off becuase I seen the sold items on there homepage before thinking thats great things are selling. When infact there full of Bull.

I tend to agree with dontclickonthis that showing the item as 'sold' on the home page is pretty much false advertising, giving potential advertisers the appearance of more sales via the site than are actually happening. So the 'issue' is more than just a matter of 'how to relist'.

is he 100% sure its his item ?

is his contact details on the ad ?

could it be a similar item someone else sold ?

Yep I'm sure its my ad its word for word and exact make and model.

PaulPinnacle gets my point this is false advertising.

Now that u mentoion it i have advertsied there and gotten piss poor responses to my ads

they may well be struggling but its very amateur of a company to slap a sold sign on someones ad when they could just take an extra 30 seconds and re-word the ad or change the picture to a slightly differnt one and cover their tracks
