If it's for a secondary school student check what brand of calculator is being asked for in the booklist because that is what the maths teacher will be using to show the students how to do the calculations.

A lot of calculator models have their buttons in slightly different places, or a different sequence of buttons will need to be pressed depending on the model. Speaking as someone who was weak at maths you are best to go with the book list brand and then there will be no confusion in working out the equations.

Good deal all the same - sorry for any negativity

Tesco have their Texet FX1500 scientific calculator at €3.62
It's good enough for secondary school maths.

I'm using that exact calculator in Lidl for the past 6 years from 1st year of secondary school to 1st year of college. It's an extremely easy calculator to use. Reccomended.

I too recommend this calculator and is accepted by most maths teachers also.

This calculator is accepted by all the Maths teachers I have dealt with in the past (and present.)

I'm only getting another incase something happens to it. :P
