    Hi

    I have searched various threads and cant seem to get a definitive on the following questions:

    Can I get HD versions of the FTA and FTV channels (BBC, ITV and Five) through a sky HD box WITHOUT subscription?
    I have a UK basic sky card which I currently use to receive standard broadcast through sky without subscription.

    If I can use a sky HD box without subscription, can I use the record facilities of the box also, or does this require subscription to work?

    99% sure of being able to receive FreesatHD channels (ITVHD and BBCHD - There is no FiveHD) - and am 100% sure that you CANNOT record!

    It is possible to have a record subscription in the UK but don't know about here. From what I remember, it was almost the same as a basic subscription!

    you can get BBCHD ITVHD and LUXEHD for free, with a sky hd box.

    you can NOT record anything though without a subscription.

    you can not get ch4hd or 5 hd on it.

    (you may be able to get 4hd and fivehd with your uk card)
