    Hi there,

I just noticed that Three is selling the iPhone 4 without a bill plan just prepay as well for €569.

Since I am moving to Canada in November there is no point in getting a contract. So I was wondering if that iPhone 4 on a prepay basis is unlocked for other Sims and Networks?

I'm not sure, but I doubt it -- why not go to apple.com/ie and order a factory unlocked one (definitely unlocked) for only 599?

Still 30 Euro difference plus 3 weeks waiting time on Apple.com/ie, that's why I am asking about the Three offer :)

True -- in answer to your question, I don't think so, but maybe. Tried ringing 'em?

€30 extra for a factory unlocked version which you can bring to canada is a no brainer to me.
the three iPhone will deffo be locked to 3. my sis inlaw got on the other day on bill upgrade.

Cool (or Not in this case), thanks a lot for the answers.
I might even wait until I'm in Canada then, as they are only 659 Canadian Dollars, which is not even 490 EUR.

Yep, you'll have access to an Apple store too, so you'll probably be able to walk in as soon as you arrive in Canada and pick up a simfree one.

Honestly, keep an eye on Adverts.ie

I sold a 32gb there last week for 650 eur, full warranty, 7 days old from Apple Shop in Glasgow. You never know, best of both worlds.
