    Hey,

I wanted to go and book a test for my full license. Just wondering do you have to use your own car or is one provided for you?

I'm trying to avoid spending money on repairing a thing or 2 in my car can I can live with but an examiner probably wouldnt.

No, you don't have to be in your own car to take the test but you have to be insured in whatever car your in.
You can use a car from a driving school, but there is of course a fee for the hire of it for the test.

Have you any idea how much it costs?

No, sorry - I used my own car for my test.

Ring around a couple of the driving schools and see what they charge - it will depend probably on where you are based.

If you have a friend has their own insurance on a car, they can often insure you for the day on their policy for about 30 euro. I did it for a friend of mine when she was doing her test.

I used my instructor's car for the test and I think it was about 60 euro. Good luck whatever you end up doing :)
