Bottle Burst & Beer Disappeared?

    Brewing beer continues to amaze me. I just discovered one of my 2 litre plastic bottles of a brew I did over a month ago has burst and there is no trace of the beer. I had tied a plastic bag around it in case it burst but it's all dried out now, not a drop left. So I can only imagine it all fizzed up and then just dispersed, or is that possible? Nobody cleaned it up anyway and I don't think there are superbugs in my garage. Confused.
