Hi, every1 any help with this would b greatly appreciated.

I Recently broke my iPhone 3g and successfully claimed on my insurance with 02 for a new one which arrived today. I'm with o2 bill pay but outta contract and want to move to vodafone. I rang up 02 to request unlock code for phone but told me I'd have to register phone but they have process request.

My question is the fact it's not registered does it mean it unlocked or am I better off just registering it and requesting unlock thru o2.

    Cheers
