Hi all,

I am currently looking to buy a new laptop, used for business and then the usual internet, iTunes, movies etc. I travel a lot so weight and size is a priority too.

I have narrowed it down to 2 notebooks, Asus UL30A which seems to be a great notebook, and the new Macbook Pro, both are 13.3' screens which is fine for spreadsheets etc.

Any recommendations? I have Apple products (iPhone and iTouch) but have never bought a Mac. Is it worth the extra cash for the Mac?

Not really. I'd look at the new Core i HP Pavilion DV3 or DM4.
